Grateful for Grace

Grateful for grace that frames my life,

Above, below and side to side.

Mercies arrive with each new dawn,

There is always enough to carry on.

Amazing grace that brought me near,

Day by day taught my heart to fear.

Then one glad and glorious day,

Birth brought life, the old went away.

Grace in the moments dark and sad,

Grace in the seasons bright and glad.

There’s more than enough, a rich supply,

You hold me close and walk near by.

Grace above that looks to hope,

Grace below that keeps standing firm.

Grace beside to show the way,

Staying to walk one more day.

Sustaining grace for every need,

As days hasten quickly by.

The heavenly calendar marks each one,

Grace alone knows when all will be done,
