 Scattered Fragments

Scattered fragments on the ground,

Broken hearts lie all around.

Hopeless, helpless, strewn about,

Despair invades, doubt comes along.

Until the Master speaks His Words,

“Gather the fragments,

That none are lost.”

It is then the mystery begins.

He gathers the fragments in our midst,

Into the basket they go.

A life woven by sorrow and pain,

Begins to rise up again.

Nothing is wasted or lost,

The Master gathers what is left.

Fragments become a portrait

The Masterpiece of His grace.

The fragments will feed you and more,

Deeper, fuller the knowledge of Him.

Share your bread, go to them,

Whose fragments are scattered around.
